Returning for his six seasons with Bishop’s is defensive coordinator and recruiting expert Marc Loranger. Loranger’s resume is extensive, having won at both the CEGEP and CIS levels. As a coach with CEGEP’s Vieux Montreal, Loranger led the team to back-to-back Bowl D’Or’s. Loranger was also the AUAA Coach of the Year in 1991 when he took the Mount Allison Mounties to the Vanier Cup finals. Loranger is known for his keen ability to spot talent, when he coached Mt. Allison he was able to attract former two times Hec Creighton award winner and current Montreal Alouette Eric Lapointe among other stars to his team.
